Hair

I just bought a bow a couple months ago and the hairs have already stretched out a great deal. Every time i tighten them up before playing i need to tighten them more and more every time and i will need to get it re-haired soon if this keeps up.
Anyone have any advice for me.

Re: Hair

I would suggest just doing whatever the hairs require you to do until they break because, you probably have a set of cheap hairs that aren't of much quality. Or you can just go ahead and replace them now. I know that better hairs are more expensive, but it really is worth the investment you put into it. They should stretch a little and they would save you money in the long run because you wouldn't have to get them replaced as often. Go look at reviews for hairs and choose a good set with quality. And I'm not saying you have to get the most expensive kind or anything like that, Im saying dont get the cheaper of hairs. Try high grade, course, white, Mongolian horse hair.
Trust me, Its a worthy investment. : )
good luck
