Holtz?

K. Holtz bow's. Should I even bother. I don't currently play arco (haven't been playing db very long) and am looking for something inexpensive to get me into it. I can pick up one of these locally for $62. My next step is more than twice that. I realize that this is the bottom of the barrel, but is it even an option?

My student have one of these and my first impression was it is loud and draws a good sound.
It is definitely not as warm as wood, but can be a good beginner stick.
