How Much???

I have been learning on an inexpensive french bow, and just can't get the the feel for it. I want to switch to a german style bow. Does anyone have advise on where to look for one where there will be somebody who knows what they are talking about. I am in the southern California area. Thanks.

Ask a dealer in the area to get you an Eastman bow. They're made in China with good materials and workmanship. I've sold many and never had a problem.

I have a Jan Kulik that I love. It's on the moderately priced/inexpensive side.

switch to German bow

Many places will let you try the bow out for a week or two before buying. I would recomend this.
I've found that holding either type bow properly feels awkward at first.

I have found myself wanting to hold a french bow like a german and vice versa. Go figure....

You might find switching types does not help.
Practice will.

Good Luck,
Dave
