How to test bows

Hey all,

I recently got in a new Prochownik bow to sample, as I've been looking for an upgrade from mine. I believe that I do have a relatively decent grasp of what to look for in a bow, such as responsiveness, spiccato, camber, weight, balance, overall feel, sound, etc. But what I was really wondering, is do you guys have any certain tests that you have devised in order to test each one of these aspects and characteristics to the bow?

Have someone play your bass, with 4-5 different bows, without looking at it. You might get some surprises.

Get a seasoned pro and a concert hall. Listened from a good distance away. Then have him/her listen from a good distance away.
