I had some Carlsson melt in my bow case one time. Bow case was against a sunny window. I put the case in the freezer for about ten minutes and then the stuff just flaked off the fabric no problem. If you like the Carlsson, you might like the Oak Rosin even better. I also have black horsehair, but German frog. The Oak is a little better on the low notes than Carlsson and just as smooth in tone.

Since you're in the UK, I believe they're called "fanny packs."

No, no Over here a fanny pack is something else entirely.

Bum bag is what they used to be called, but that fell out of favour. I suppose hip bag is what they are referred to now.

Since I'm on the tangent; I was involved in a recording project in Warsaw last year. It was the middle of winter.
I noticed that a great many people had small bum bags (fanny packs).
I wondered if this was some fashion quirk.
until i tried to buy some bus tickets.
Gloves, jean pockets, small change and -20c don't mix.
It then all became clear:
The small hip bag was used as a very practical way to manage small items in cold temperatures without the need to remove gloves.
Genius.

Yeah they're called hip packs here in the US too. I just love how here fanny means "butt" while meaning something else entirely in the UK

Surprisingly useful things if you have the need for 'em.
