Just got my bow hair cleaned

Hi everyone, this is the first time I had my bow hair cleaned (from gooped-up rosin) in a pro shop, and they told me to let it dry a bit. Eight hours went by, and when I try to bow, the hair just slides on the string like a piece of butter on a hot fry pan. The hair still has that chemical smell, and I'm wondering if I should let it dry more, or apply rosin and start my practice?

It's slipping because there is no rosin. Since I don't what they used to clean it with, I don't know if you should wait or not. I don't think there would be any harm in rosining up and going for it.

just don't let the hair touch the wood of the bow. other than that the most harm you could do is ruin the (already bad if you had to clean it) hair and maybe need a new cake of rosin.
