Keep your bow looking new

Hi guys,

I just got a brand new bow (my old one was stolen, but that's a different story). The new bow is one of those pretty, shiny, glossy things (exactly what I don't like in a bass, but it works in a bow).

I take good care of all my instruments. I wipe down my bow, loosen the hair, keep it in a case (albeit a pool cue case), etc. What I want to know is, how do you keep your bows LOOKING new. Specifically, is there any way to keep your ferrules, slides, windings, screws, etc clean and shiny?

The best I could come up with was just to occasionally wipe these parts off with a damp rag and then dry them, in addition to the general wipe down after each use.
