Kolstein All Weather

Been using Carlssons. Decided to try the Kolstein. Is there some secret to removing the 2-ply paper & leather(!) wrapper as you work it on down? The wrapper is bonded to the rosin like stink on .... Also, which brand is known for being the softest? It's gettin' cold and dry here and this Kolstein rosin already feels like a glass marble.

I, too, believe there is a secret to removing the wrapper from the Kolstein rosin, but I can't share it with you.

I just laughed and went back to Pops, where there are no secrets.
