Modern copies of the Dragonetti bow?

Are there any makers that make copies of Dragonetti-style classical bass bows? It would be very interesting to try something like this out!

I think MIlan Oubrecht in the Czech republic does them.

It's best if you can find a bow maker that is trained in period bow making. Many "period" bows are really modern bows with period aesthetics. The Dragonetti bow is unusual in that it's "bow and arrow" like camber is only representative of Dragonetti but not of other bows in the classical time. For instance, Sperger, Pichelberger and Kampfer did not use a bow as out-bent as Dragonetti. However, if you still wish for a TRUE and authentic period copy to the last detail you must contact Scott Wallace. He's works in Vienna and I believe he has numerous plans available for Dragonetti's bows as well as many other historically correct period bows.
