New "Bob" bow

I got to try Paul's germanBob bow ast week, and despite my helicore pizz strigns, It felt very good, so I ordered one for myself.
I'm a complete novice (as everyone knows by now), but I have managed to get a pleasing sound somewhat consistently so far. The color of the wood is quite nice, and it is comfortable- $150 very well spent I think. I ordered some of teh Carlsson Rosin as well, but don't really have anything to compare it to yet, haha.

Every upright bassist I've talked to and most of the people on TB I've checked out use Carlsson rosin. Probably a good purchase

Bob seems to be a really great dealer. He was GREAT when I was asking about Eminence EUBs and Acoustic Image amps. I can't wait to scrap together the cash to buy an Eminence, german bow, and AI combo from him.

Indeed- Bob is great. I got my bow 2 days after I put in my order. The case I ordered from him was great as well. It is really nice havaing an online retailer that you can trust has done his hoemwork on products.
The EA combos look really good. I'll probably be purchasing a pickup and amp later this year, and and leanign twoards EA right now as well.
