New bow for father's day

I've been playing double bass for 50 years, and for the first 40 years, never owned a bow. 10 years ago I bought a "mystery" brazilwood bow from a local music store ($149). I have never been happy with that bow, but it did help me clean up my intonation. Yesterday, the Fedex truck showed up with a package from Lemur. My wife bought me a new Ary France 500 pernambuco bow (German) for father's day. I am one happy camper. Back to the wood shed.

Ary 500 German

Happy Father's Day.

I am looking to purchase a new bow. It sounds like you recommend the Ary 500 (I play the German bow, as well).

(Un)fortunately, I have to purchase a new bass first

The Ary is certainly not a master bow, but it sure beats the hell out of the piece of crap that I have been playing.
