new bow hair

hey everyone, just got my bow back from being rehaired, with black hair this time, it is workin good so far (for the 15 minutes ive had it) any suggestions or tips for playing with black hair versus white or breaking it in? just wondering, still a newb to the db world. thanks for any wise insights.

The differences are small, and subjective at that. Rather than tell you what to expect, and have you looking for that experience while you play, I'd recommend that you just play as you normally would, and make your own observations. You're actually fortunate to be exposed to both types so early, so as you grow as a player, you'll have informed opinions.
While you're at it, experiment with less and more rosin, and note the compromises necessary to balance tone and playability. Try bowing in a dark room, so that there are fewer sensory distractions from truly hearing the sound.
