OK, Kids... Who's going to be...

First on the block to get one?

Why? I guess I just don't understand why.

I'd try it, but I'm primarily a plankist- I know little of your culture, your traditions & mystique(except what I read here). I'm also guessing it's way beyond my *buy goofy s**t on a whim* budget.

Not mine - in any sense. Maybe it sounded like I was selling them. Sorry. No, my culture is a nice pernambucco bow on a nice carved bass.

This is what capitalism thrives on! Competition. Next comes the midi-version of the Yita chinese bows!!

Actually, I was thinking more of a clip-on sensor that would work on any bow. Not quite sure how to measure the hair tension, but I'm sure an idea will emerge... maybe a strain gauge measuring stick flex.

Allow me to expand on this. For me the biggest limiting factor in electronic sounds is the number of dimensions which can be utlised to electronically alter a sound input.

Monotimbral electronic sounds get very repetitive very quickly. So the greater the number of "bridges" between a user input and sound generation, the more organic it will sound.

So, let's see... one of each of these, and some software, and a case:

Yep, that should do it. Hmm, not so expensive... I might actually do this.
