It sells for only $60, marked down from $225 on Music123.com and wwbw.com, which seems too low a price to be true.

I don't have any grounds for comparison, but I do like the feel. Since the price is barely above a pos ebay bow I threw for a German one last week, as I wanted to experiment with which technique feels more natural for me.
If an experienced player would consider it 'good for a back up' - they're as good as I need at this point. I figured it was hard to go wrong.

I had a pretty good bow (1-2000$ range) to begin with and I use the premier a lot. For the price it's worth it to have a back up. I have done some "money" show biz gigs with it and I'm still liking it more by the day. Good Luck. Peace. ASG
p.s.as I think about it, a french player I know played my german and went right to the computer to order one.......

I, however, decided to go to Upton to get their $99 bow. I tried three of them and picked the lightest one.
It may be only $60, but I can't trust any bow until I actually try it out. That's why I decided to go up to Mystic, CT from NYC, three hours each way. |

The construction isn't the best-a few rough edges, but a decent sounding bow, not a huge sound but it projects nicely. I got a german one as a "road" bow instead of checking my Carbow in my luggage. I'm happy with it, but it is one the heavy side... |

| | | | Good news and bad news: The good news is wwbw has some more. The bad is that they went up $24 . Move quickly. |

| | | | *^%#! Well, I saw that they existed again and my old german one had cracked from abuse and is held together with super glue, so I took some tax refund money to get a new one that I was assured by the "product specialist" that it was identical to the old one sold a few years ago.Not a chance! Beware! This is a dead stick, with different printing, winding. . . I have been putting off making that call to returns.
They put the "a*s, in assured". | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
