So my friend was using my bow on his steel string guitar. Now I can't get it to to make a good sound when I bow my bass. Can anyone tell me what may have happened, and what I have to do to get it working again.

I don't even know what to say.

How does a bow not even make a 'good sound'? Not enough rosin? Bad hair?

Have you put more rosin on it? I have attempted to bow a guitar before, it never did anything to my bow.

Question

What does "s" mean in the title?

i'm sure it has nothing to do with using your bow on a steel string guitar. correlation does not equal causation. don't know what to tell you... just keep practicing and mind what you're doing with your bow.

Consult a professional teacher you can explain this to with sufficient detail!
