Samuel Kolstein & Son bows vs the original Samuel Kolstein bows? Other bows?

hey guys, havn't posted on talkbass in a while...

I'm wondering what are your experiences with the Samuel Kolstein & Son french bass bows. I know some, or all, of these bows were started by Sam and finished by his son. Do these bows stack up to the original bows 100% made by Sam? What are some other good french bows around the $2000 and under price range?

Check out the Tom Owen Bow thread. Great bow for a great price. I have an excellent custom size stick for half the price of what you want to spend.
