| Thrift Store Bow Find
Recently at a thrift store I scored a neat bow, a VIOLIN bow, which is why I'm just asking for general help and not going to post any pics unless requested. It was being sold with a new el cheapo violin. The bow is silver mounted with shell inlay, it has some stamps on it, one of which is W. Germany so that gives an idea of age, there's alot of rosin build-up on the underside of the stick and it's dark and dirty. I want to sell the bow for a good price because I got it cheap and I don't want to rip anyone off or be ripped off myself. I am not an Ebay person. What it the best way to find out more about what I have? I'm not really familiar with any music stores in my area specializing in string instruments.
