| twist in bow - effects on playing? I just bought a "mail order" inexpensive bow. I noticed when I unpacked it that it has a, slight although easily visible, twist at the tip. It doesn't seem to be bent/warped to the left or right but is does have a slight twist.
What effect does this have on the bows ability to function properly?
I'm a DB newbie and my focus is Jazz/Pizz playing. I'm playing a Kay with Spiro's. Only playing arco at home for practice. The bow is definetly better than the crappy plastic one I found at church. I guess I'm just wondering if the twist is going to create any bad habbits with technique or if it makes it any more difficult to use?
Thx,
John
