Where is it from?

I have been shopping for a new carbon fiber bow. I have tried several so far. I am surprised that none of the bows are labeled with "made in xxx". I thought all manufactured products had to carry that label. Are bow exempt from this? Or should I just assume they are all made anonymously in some factory in China?

I see a lot of discussion on the forum about the origins of equipment in general. Are musical instruments special in this regard?

I am just curious if anyone knows about this.

Walter Paulus, http://www.paulus-bowparts.de/ supplies many companies with frogs (Coda and Kolasa: a.k.a. Tabary, for instance). I don't know where the Coda sticks themselves are made now...once upon a time they were domestic but now I don't know.
