Where can I buy rosin in London?

Hi,
Does anybody here happen to live in London? And, if you do, would you happen to know where I can buy some rosin? I've looked in every local music shop I can think of but I'm probably going to have to go into Central London. The nearest shop that I KNOW sells the stuff, is about two hours away by train. I'd rather not go there. I lost my last lot and I really cannot find it. It's so annoying that I can't play my bass properly. It just makes this strange ghosty noise whenever I attempt it. Anyway, I just thought I'd ask.
Oh, alternatively, can anybody think of an alternative to using rosin? If you REALLY need to play and you REALLY don't have any rosin? I thought of a number of alternatives but the were all ridiculous and anyway I didn't want to gunk up my bow.
Ta!

You woudn't be kind of messin' around with us here would you?

If not, I feel for you. Little towns like London and NYC can be a bitch to find this rare stuff in.

where about in London are you located?

http://www.healeyviolins.co.uk/

http://www.contrabass.co.uk/rosin.htm

http://www.londonviolins.com/ (but they're closed until 4th Jan 10)

Chappell of Bond Street has about 5 violins and 1 cello. No double bass and accessories for DB at all.

Good luck!!

Do you mean London, Ontario? I've got a few cakes sitting around I could part with.

An amusing story...

Last year I dropped my daughter off at kindergarten and I was taking the bus back to my house to practice. I crossed the road to catch the bus. I see a little gold box on the sidewalk as I cross. I thought, "Gee, that sure looks like a Oak Rosin box." When I got across the street, it turns out it was! You never know where a good box of rosin will show up!
