1u rack mixer?

Sign in to disble this ad
Figure live sound is the best spot for this because im looking for something to add on to my road PA. I know they have cheaper 1u rack mount mixers, however does anyone know of one that does 6 to 12 + XLR in with a main out thats either 2 x 1/4" jacks or 1 or 2 xlr outputs? Im basically looking for a smaller connector to add all the drums into and plug them into 1 or 2 ports off my main mixer, into the 1/4" channel would work best but basically something to hook 6 or more mics in a channel off my main mixer, all the drum mics are XLR. Seems like everything i was looking at is either 1/4" inputs or xlr in xlr out for every channel not really a mixer.

Thanks in advance

This one only does four, but is not cheap and cheerful; it's got good pre's and will sound good.

This on the other hand, is a bit more 'budget', but seems to do exactly what you want it to!

I have had great luck with Rolls gear over the years. They make a lot of different models, I like the RM81

wonder how it sounds, the one review i seen on it said as a mixer is sounds dirty but clean as a splitter. kinda concerning. also kinda confused on how many XLR inputs you can use when using the left and right outputs but thats pretty much what im looking for.

One of the churches has one that is intended to be a DI.. each of the channels has an "out put control" for both XLR and 1/4... at least 10 channels.

This one only has 4 xlrs as well:

I used to have one and liked it quite a bit. They pop up on a certain auction site pretty frequently and generally go pretty cheaply.

Rane AM2

or

Rane MLM 82S

I use the SM 82S for Synths and Stick (melody-side) and the MLM 42S for my basses (fretted, fretless, EUB, Stick bass, Moog T-3).
