The only one I know of less expensive than the Shure psm200 is the Galaxy As-900:

After comparing the two, I bought the Shure psm200. They are for sale on eBay all the time and can be had used for about $300.

The user reviews of the galaxy system note that it has less than desirable bass response. If you play bass, this is definitely a deal breaker.

Add another vote for the Shure. I've tried several, including Galaxy, Nady, Behringer, Carvin, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, and Shure. I liked the Audio-Technica best, but of those that were "affordable," the Shure was head and shoulders above the others.
