Crown Power amps?

I have an older XTI1000 and an Old EV 1.0KW which has been intermittent and getting put into practice space duties. The XTI has been a solid performer all around. Now I see these XLS amps and have to wonder how they perform compared to my XTI. This is a small time bar band PA and usually a one man load in. The weight factor and price is important to me. What are the basic differences I may notice between the XTI1000 and the XLS1500 in a real world application. The only thing that jumps out at me in the specs is the damping factor. The XTI is only $100 more and only 10 pounds heavier but the features and weight point to the XLS as the improved model. Any opinions? Thanks.

Crown XLS amps = great stuff.
I have the XLS1500 and couldn't be happier with it. It has been a rock
solid performer.

I went with the XLS1500 over the XLS1000 because it is the same size
and approximate weight. The XLS2000 and XLS2500 are deeper and
heavier (but still pretty darn light).

That's great to hear. Two of these would still be lighter than my XTI.
