Dimarzio Clip Locks 2" on a bass?

Is the strap too thin?

Thin as in 2" wide?

Plenty of bassists use a 2" strap, it's all preference. I like at least a 3" wide strap, preferably 4"

I can't stand thin straps anymore, but there was a time that's all I used. Of course, that was 10 years and 30 lbs. ago

I have them on my Ibanez BTB which weighs (if I remember) 9 lbs and my Stingray 5 which may even be heavier. They can dig if you have them in an uncomfortable position, but hold the bass very well. Never had any problems with screws pulling or anything.
