Which do knob to adjust? Amplifier or Guitar knobs?

When I play live, I just set the amp to flat. I adjust my sound with the knobs on my bass. Is this correct or should I be doing something else? Thanks TB'ers! Cheers!

Does it sounds good ?

If so, it is correct. If not, try something else.

Yea it sounds kinda good but its like 98% of the time. I'm never satisfied with my sound.

I don't necessarily set my amp EQ flat, in fact I never do. I tend to set a general tone for the room with my amp EQ and then adjust for specific songs or passages on the fly using the onboard preamp on my bass.

Thats my way, just do what works for you.
