G30 Line 6 Wireless and Ispot Power Help

Can I use my Ispot to power the receiver for my G30 or will it screw it up? It would be nice not to have to use 2 power cords.

most pedal sized boxes like the G30 run on 9V, so make sure its 9V and the proper center (positive or negative) and as long as you have enough power you should be good. the onespot (not Ispot) should have enough power to power just two pedals. thats the whole idea behind the onespot anyway, you get a power daisy chain, and can power a variable buffet of pedals.

Found this at line6 website: Community: Power Supply, Amp Power and Battery F.A.Q.

The short of it is the Relay G30 uses their "DC-1G" power adapter, which is 9V DC, 500mA, Center Pin: (-) (2.1mm). In other words basically the same as a Boss PSA.

Line 6 recommends the Voodoo Labs pedal power, other supplies will work but 'are not supported'.

So the one spot should be fine. It's total is a max 1700mA for everything connected to it. I doubt the receiver actually uses 500mA. You could find out exactly how much by putting a multimeter on it, or contact Line 6 via their site, it seems helpful.

The label on the rcvr for the G30 says 9VDC, center neg, 200mA. When I first tested mine I ran it on one of the PP2 outputs that provide 100mA and it seemed ok but I have been running on the high current output now just to be safe.

Thanks guys, I will put the receiver in the pedal board as a part of the chain.
