Sorry to say, you're going to have a very hard time getting that tone on your gear.

Your best hope is to get a sansamp BDDI, blend it up all the way and adjust the drive for a little crunch and the presence for a little of the bite.

There's also a little bit of chorus on it.

to get "geddy"...

you need to really push the mids and play over the bridge pickup (or where it should be)...

the EDb-400 is a P-bass style bass...really tough to get the "geddy" tone...you'll need a two-pickup bass, really...but you can try

You definitely would with a P style bass.

I get really close, with my Jazz bass, playing right over the front pickup and leaning a bit more on the front than the back pickup. I'm only bumping the mids a touch and cutting the highs some to get rid of the click that comes from the aggressive right hand technique required to get the strings to "bark" a bit--almost like a thumb slap. I use a MXR M-80 with a nice mix of (30/70 ?) distortion to clean signal and the drive turned up about 1/3. The settings will vary according to the output of the bass, of course. I tried to get the same sound out of my Music Man and couldn't.
