They all have mid knobs, but the frequency which they affect is fixed. The RPM has an extra mid control. Also FYI, noon is not flat, try around 9 o:clock for flat. The blend knob simply affects the amount of clean signal versus affected signal.
No, one channel of the PA is typical.
If you do a search there has been a lot of threads regarding RBI v RPM. It would definitely be worth your while to read them. Also worth your while to learn exactly how your unit functions before deciding whether or not you like it.
As I said, I use an RBI through an Ampeg 810 ( The one with darker sounding speakers from the early 2000s) and I get all the mid I need out of mine. YMMV
