Hey guys, I got a quick question for you, I have a Hartke 3500 head running into 2 Hartke 4x10xl cabs, I'm thinking about trading 1 of the cabs for a Hartke 1x15xl.found a guy that has one.. What do you think? Once I trade I won't be able to get the 4x10 back..Thanks

Make sure you try the 115 first. I had a 410XL and was looking for a 115XL to complement it. I tried one and it sounded nasty (maybe a defective one.....not sure). I ended up buying a second 410XL.

I'd stick with both 410s, personally.

I only own a single 410XL but I stacked in on top of another guy's 410XL for a festival gig we were both doing and it sounded amazing.

I used to have TP 4x10" and 1x15" (not the same as XL, but pretty close. and I´ve tried XL´s in the same config.) and never got what I wanted... Years later I got two 4.5XL´s. Much better...

I´d stick with the 10"´s anyway...

Thanks Guys.Played a gig last night outdoors and got to mess around with the sound a lot before we played and ended up dialing in a killer sound with the 2 4x10's, it's the second gig i've done with the rig so a few more I should be able to make it a little better, playing again tonight outdoors so I'll mess with it a little more, and next week I'll be playing for a couple nights in doors down in Key Largo so by then I should have it dialed in...Thanks again

And of course, the 8 10-inch aluminum cones just look cool as heck. FWIW.

The 4.5XL would improve the bottom and the top end of your sound.
