You cant find a better sound improvement for $55 anywhere. I put my 210/212 stack on this thing and I found several improvements: - Tighter lows.
- More expressive highs.
- Greater efficiency.
- Looks cool too.
I have been more into a scooped tone lately with lots of lows and highs but I couldnt get this tone to be loud enough in the mix without getting mushy and losing note articulation. Thats all gone now. I can crank the bass knob (not that I would) and still hear each note in a fast run. I can run my amp with the master volume 2-3 notches below where I was running it before and still get the same loudness. And the drummer actually says he can hear the highs now, .
Anyway, I dont usually gush over gear like this but GRAMMA really works well and I cant imagine why more people dont use it. You wont believe how much of your tone and volume you are losing to the floor. Why give it away to the floor when you can put it in somebody's earhole?

It's a nice looking piece of kit.
Remember, the GRAMMA is only mechanically decoupling your cab from the floor. You would need to raise your cabs at least 2 feet off the ground to acoustically decouple them.
But all in all it's a good product as long as you understand what it really can and cannot do. Cheers

| Yes, this is totally sig worthy.

I've also enjoyed using it. Like CindyB said, it's especially good on a hollow stage: keeps it from turning into a giant subwoofer.

What I'm saying is that I actually thought it was going to be bunk and was very pleasantly surprised when it wasn't.

It gets a little tippy- not too bad, but I always use it now and I can really dig in without any complaints. Before I always was told to turn down- too boomy, etc. |

While experimenting with a mic/desk stand on my wood puter table I could hear rumble in the mic from the puter and drives running with a less sensitive dynamic mic even.
This is why when mic'ing amps live its also a good idea to put something under the mic stand, and don't use cheesy devices that attach your amp mic to the cabinet/amp. Have had to use a wet bar towel in a pinch and it helped quite a bit. (could hear footsteps in the amp mic as the steel round base was on a hardwood floor and had no rubber feet on it)
