What are all y'all using? What do you feel gives the best bang for the buck? Can I rack one with my IEM wireless without any issues? Any and all answers, comments, anecdotes, etc. welcome.

I use a older senheisser e2. It's rackmount and i love it. THe body pack is metal so im not as worried about it when i drop it. Only down side is there is no auto mute, so if you turn the body pack off first it screams static from the box through your amp. Never a good thing when you hear radio static the the pa. Foh guys hate that.

Line 6 Relay G90, not got one yet, but tried one out and its absolutely immense. No signal loss, no interference, huge range, crystal clear quality, and robust.

I use an older Nady 201 VHF

and an EV R100 VHF

The Nady is the winner of the 2....only thing I have to remember is to mute the amp before turning off the backpack, or may get static...but no biggie.

Lots of love from me and others on this forum for the Line 6 Relay Series. From my point of view, sound is identical to cable. I have the G50, go G90 if you want rack mount.

Line6 G30

I have a Line6 G30 that I love... it sounded just like a straight cable connection. it's great! I also hooked it up in reverse and used it as IEM at times... (transmitter at mixer and receiver with rigged 9V battery power supply)

Yeah, I'm several years into gigging with an XDR-95, and to a lesser extent an XDS-PLUS... Other than replacing one transmitter cable, they've been 100% trouble free... I bought Hitech LI-ION rechargeable 9v batteries awhile ago to offset the high cost of Duracells wit these units, and would strongly recommend going that route...

My guitarists, and several others I know in my area have been using the G50s with excellent results - they are very, very good...

I'm using a Line6 G50, which replaced my Shure ULXS, which is also a fine wireless unit, but big and bulky. I really like the G50.

I've got an XDS-95, XDS-Plus and Line6 G50 and really like all three, not least for their portability. I can carry any of them in my gig bag, and particularly the XDS-95 and G50 will fit on a pedal board with ease. The XDS-Plus will fit too, but takes a bit more space. Still, it's probably my favorite receiver-wise, because of the handy multi-segment LED meter which allows me to glance over every once in a while to see how much battery life I have left.

Been using Line 6 G50 for about 6 months now and absolutely love it. Have never lost signal, never had interference, it sounds great, pack is lightweight.

My only problem is the battery indicator. It goes from 3 bars to 1 bar rather quickly, and I haven't experimented to see how long 1 bar last, so I usually start sweating it on stage at 1 bar left.

Both great, but don't you just love the full range metering for the battery on the Plus!
