JBL sf15 power amp

Sign in to disble this ad
My father is getting 2 jbl sf15's and a mixer from my friend for only 225. The power amp was sold separately, so we have to make a purchase. I just don't know what to look for. I know each speaker needs 250 watts continuous power, so do i purchase a power amp that's more than 500 watts. I'm curious because I've been reading reviews and find some people have used power amps rated at 400 watts. Doesn't the watts boost when you run it bridged?

what's a very inexpensive power amp that would work with these.
