Line 6 g50 power question.
Hey all! I have just received a line 6 g50 and I was looking at the power requirements for the receiver and realized it required 300 mah. I am using a voodoo labs pedal power 2x4 currently to power my board and it can only supply a maximum of 250 mah out of it's L6 ports (the strongest ports it has).
I currently run a little big muff for guitar through one of the L6 ports which also requires 300 mah but since it is a fuzz pedal the lower amperage is okay, at least that is what i am assuming from what I have read. My question for all of you, is what should I do for powering my G50 receiver? Will the 250 mah be enough? I have been able to power it up with that much power but I want to make sure I am not doing anything that will hurt the unit. I realize it will shorten the range slightly, but other than that will anything happen? Thank you in advance!

Don't know specifics, but I run my G50 off a One Spot. Hard to imagine the PP2 causing any problems.

My only worry is that it is only supplying 250 mah when it says it needs 300. It seems to be working fine at the moment besides a little less range.

I can't speak to the physics of it, but I know that I've run mine with the official adapter, and off one of the 9v outputs of my Gator G Bus and it's been fine both ways. So, probably?

I will continue to run it with my voodoo labs since it seems to be working fine. I am not too worried about it since it seems to be fine. Thank you!
