The Stewart PA1200 was a good sounding amp and very advanced in it's day. However, amps have come a long way since then and the power to weight ratio of today's amps far surpass Stewart. Beyond that, I would be hesitant to buy an amp that's 10+ years old and long since gone out of production.
If it's possible, buy an amp that is new enough to still be under warranty.
