MM Stingray 4 and Eden Nemesis EN410

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey, Im having troubles with my brand new stingray 4 and the Eden Nemesis EN410 (my schools bass amp). Its like it has a very hard attack, but no tone behind it. Well yeah, theres LOTS of bass on the E string. But the tone lacks from the rest. Especially the G-string. I've tried to add mids, boost treble and just generally play with EQ, but I never got that firm bass tone that I would like, and I hear alot of others ray users has.

Any advices?

start with the EQ on the bass flat (the middle detent on all three EQ knobs), then boost the bass just a pinch.

run the amp mostly flat as well, maybe backing off mids just a little if it's too boxy.

when you start EQing heavily, things get uneven and start to lose volume and headroom.
