I have a Crown xti2000 and we run (4) 8ohm floor wedge monitors to which we daisy chain (2) to each channel. My question is can we add a third monitor to one of the channels or will that do some damage? |

Unless you're running at full volume, (which I hope to God you're not,) you shouldn't have anything to worry about at all! That's a lot of power for floor monitors!
I'm using a Crown XLS 202, which is 200 watts per channel at 8 ohms to run two monitors, and it's barely sending out anything to do that.
You're sending out 800 watts per channel! I'm not using that kind of power for my mains!
You are running "unbalanced" by having two on one side and three on the other, but again, as minimally as you're working that amp, I would think you can throw most of the rules right out the window!
You should be fine.

Loading them differently, speaker-wise, is generally not a problem. |

I guess I should already know that, but for some reason, I was listening to a certain somebody who is overly paranoid about how they run systems. That person always ran everything bridged, which I have no need to do with my systems, anyway, and I have to remember just to never listen to them, for the most part.
I'm going to do a Homer Simpson "D'Oh!" here, and instantly get 10% smarter.
