New to pa equipment, need advice on jamroom setup

I have a similar post in Misc section, im assuming the following gear would work. I just need advice on a head.im going for really cheap like lo-fi recording garage metal stuff.

Nady are pretty bad. In recording you will get almost no clarity. Unload the dough and purchase some SM58s. They also are great as hammers too.

Yeah, I have never been a fan of Nady stuff either and you can't go wrong with the SM58's.... Not cheap though....

thats what i was thinking, i changed the link becuase of it

that PA package has gotten good reviews so i figure it should do the work

Only from idiots who don't know any better. If you plan on just using that POS in your garage it might work. Just don't inflict it on the general public.

lol yea i went through this with bass eqipment. i guess its just a matter of hap-hazardly finding my way through PA companys until i find the one that makes the best equipment for a good price.

anyone have any suggestions?

If all you can afford is $200.00 then you probably won't find anything better. Seriously $200.00 will buy you 2 good mics. If you can afford it and only have 1-2 singers you could get by with one of these. http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com...ker?sku=581517 later you could buy another one and a mixer.

thanks man, all i need is to be heard over drums, my bass, and guitar

not going to be gigging with this stuff unless its small small shows in our basements for people we know

and im drooling at that speaker
