Newbie setup question

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

I am doing an open mic tonight, and wanted some opinions/guidance on what I can do for getting the best sound out of what I have.

My amp is a Behringer 115w combo, I also have a smaller 60w Hartke. A couple of weeks ago I was playing with some different folks at the same place. Because I really don't know alot about sound and set up, a mic was placed in front of the amp. Needless to say the sound was terrible(this was with the 60w, I bought the 115w last weekend).

I appreciate any help you guys can give.

your amp should have an xlr out that you can run directly to the pa. maybe that will be more to your liking.
