Outdoor - Background Music Gig

We're doing a couple of semi-quiet mostly acoustic blues sets during a dinner party. Set up in an kind of alley by the stores back deck. Probably no back drop. No PA support.

I'm hoping to get away with an 8ohm 2x10 (probably drive it with an LMII) but could take the 4 ohm 2x12 (usually driven with an M-Pulse 600).

The little set-up is small and easy to deal with vs. well- you know. Tried it on the deck here at home and it "seemed OK"

Whaddya' think ?

THANKS

I do a lot of small acoustic gtr, vox, drums and bass (PA is vox only) - especially when It's a "quiet" gig - I use an (8ohm) 112 w/ my LMII and it is way more than enough.

I'll break out the 212 on bigger clubs but I could totally get away w/ the 112 if I needed too . . . so I say the 2x10'll be just fine

Yes, without a doubt. Background music really should be just that. Don't want to stand out. Good time to lock right in and make the music sound as one.
