Par can adapter for mic stand
 

I have this:
American DJ Mega Par Profile



and I am wondering, is there an adapter to mount it on a regular mic stand? It has 1/2" non-threaded mounting holes.

It's only a couple of pounds so I'm not worried about stability.

I don't want to have to drill it out to fit a mic stand...

As in a short stand to be able to fire the light upward, or as in a standard mic stand that can be fully extended so that you can fire it in your eyes?

Either way, just want it to mount on a standard mic stand.

I bought a camera mount adapter for a mic stand. Get one of those and just find a nut to fit it.

or take a look at this...this has the securing mechanism to the mic stand. and just get a washer to secure the fixture to the clamp...

there are similar ones out there as well, but they shouldn't really be more than about 15-20 ea

A 1/2" x 1" bolt, a washer, two fender washers, and a nut. (Washer under the head, fender washer under the yoke, fender washer under the base, nut to hold it together.)
