peavey mini PA system(cool unit!)

Sign in to disble this ad
ok stumbled upon a mini or micro? pa system yesterday at a pawn shop,2 speaks that close up into a sort of case,,and there's a box next to it with a rackmounted(in the carpeted box) 2-channel power amp,,,it's like some odd beer collectible type deal(yeah well not everybody can use a 2600 watt PA system)

and it's looking like i'm going to have to croak(sing) a bit plus a buddy could borrow it and use his `harp'(monica) to beg for dimes down on the corner,,,anyhoo the thing is like tiny/cool/and since i'm restoring a 65 SS Chevelle for the store manager=i could own it easily enough, and at a discount price

so anybody ever even see one?,,i searched the peavey site(yes i know my way around the`archived manuals'=nothing found)

and; this is not the one they do have listed with 4 inch woofers about the size of an old school FM/casette radio(remember the ones you practically needed a wheelbarrow to drag around?) this setup has like 10's or 12's and a larger amp,it's cool!,anybody?

Is it more or less like the Fender Passport system, where the whole thing snaps together into one self-contained rolling unit?

If so, I would probably not mess with it, unless you can get it for really cheap. I've dealt with those a little bit, and I wasn't impressed.

no

the speakers snap together,,the`box' with the `head'has been there(burried in the aisle of amps),they did real well this year selling guitars and amps,i'm impressed because they price everything at new prices

so when i did a quick stop the other day the place was tidy, real tidy!,and there was the`box'(witch i opened up) and this pair of snap together speakers sitting together,,,just an odd bird that i may pick up for kicks(shizz and giggles),,thanks for the replys if it turns out to be some groundbreaking setup i'll post it up

i get a deal when i buy, just picked up a hot head pedal for 15 bucks as new in box with papers, part of doing (autobody)work for the manager for over 20years,,,i bought one peavey tnt for 60 bucks,(cleaned it up)beat on it for 6 months and sold it for 150 on C's list so it works for me( i can prolly by the`pa system' for a hundred or less)
