Phonic 740 Plus PA system

Primarily, I'm looking for a decent PA to use at my wedding next summer. Music, maybe some mic talk. Nothing crazy that needs to blow people's ears. I figured shelling out $300-$400 to rent a PA is not as economically sound as buying one I could later use in a small jam space. Here's my most reasonable option:

I have never heard of Phonic before seeing this deal. Anyone have experience with this company? I'd greatly appreciate some input, maybe I'll give you a cookie.

The words decent and phonic should never be used together.

A guy I play with bought a small Phonic 4 or 6 channel PA head for his folkie act.

It was never great even new, then he lost a channel or two, just out of warranty. It still works, kind of, but has been in the shop for more than a year as no one can fix it. I wouldn't bother.

Though I don't love them, the Peavey heads are pretty reliable, not too expensive & do an adequate job.

I bought one of those for practice. It's not a very hearty piece. Didn't keep it long.
