Question about bass pod XT live

When i run my GBE 1200 through my pod it sucks all the sound out of it, so it makes me turn my head all the way up. Ive been going back and forth trying to figure out how to set it up right. I may have just ****ed with something on the pod or i dont have the effects loop correct. For now i have it running throught the tube effects loop. But when i run it throught the instrument input it gets louder. Help?

Why run the GBE thru a Pod? The GBE1200 sounds fine alone. Perhaps you may want to run the Pod thru a power amp instead.
