Wireless is the one link in your chain that you really should be prepared to spend some money on. Look up the Line6 G30; that's the cheapest one I know of that's actually worth buying!

I use the X2. If you can still find some in stock, now is the time to get one. If you can't, try out the new Line 6 G30; I haven't read a bad review about those yet.

X2 has a bad battery compartment and connection design but they are giving them away now. I went with the G50 I think it is. Much better.

Yes . . . the G30 or G50 . . . I use the G30 . . . has a great sound, so very simple to use, 2xAA batteries, and no dropout! Best piece I have purchased!

Line 6 X2

Bought Line 6 X2 new. Used it 18 months. Cord connection at transmitter went bad. New one was expensive so I resoldered it myself. Battery compartment access door is cheap. Battery a pain to change. I liked the compactness of the transmitter and receiver. Range is adequate out to about 75 feet. Signal provides good sound quality, no drop outs. I have not checked out newer generation Line 6. Hopefully new product is more rugged and they have fixed battery compartment cord issues. Transmitter cords need right angle option offered with original purchase.
