Lightbulb Remarkable AT Ear Buds on the cheap

I have not worn earbuds much at all at any time in playing life because my ears are strange - hard to find any that fitted satisfactorily and still sounded good, and resisted clipping prematurely.
So, prompted by a couple of things I went searching actually for in-ears for my phone/mp3 player that would sound good but not cost a ton.
Came across these first on web, read reviews which were amazingly positive, then found an Ebay seller with them:
NEW AUDIO TECHNICA ATH-CK6W SV Audio-Technica ATH-CK6W | eBay

At this price, you can buy two sets and put away one for future

Let me tell you these are worth four times this price. I now use them every time I play live. The response is flat, uncolored, authentic and just sound great. They come with multiple tips but the ones mounted from the factory work swell for me, and block out about 80% of the ambient sound. It was shocking to hear myself humming along as I played...

I don't know how these ended up in the bargain bin but they are fabulous for the price.

I'm confused how Amazon/eBay can be selling these at a 90% discount off of the list price. That makes me a bit nervous.

Links to reviews?

This is for women - I don't know if there is anything technical about it that is aimed at the gals, but the colors certainly are and AT separates their consumer lines m/f. maybe they were discontinued?
good thing about Amazon is if you don't like, you punt them back

I've probably read reviews of at least a hundred earbud/in-ear-mon and concluded that there is so much subjectivity to the experience that is virtually impossible to know anything without putting them on/in. so far, this is the only set I've ever wanted to use again/again. bought a spare in case I damage them.
as reference; prior to this I always, for years now, went back to my lightweight Sennheiser PX 100 headphones. check the hundreds of reviews on that set. Sennheiser apparently couldn't stand their success, so they "improved" them. the original PX100 is now hard to find and pricey. the replacement is not as good.

i say again - these have a flat response. I would expect that yougsters who are wanting a hearing-damaging thump from their ipod would hate these. if you read as many reviews as I have, you find people are bipolar on this subject: they say they want accuracy, but what ticks them off is.... accuracy.. apparently. that and bad quality control
