the stupid metal clip on my X2 is useless, so I tried velcro and tape but found them too cumbersome. Now I just drop it in my front or back pocket, depending on the pants. That pouch looks tempting, though.

The problem I had with the commercial pouches is they don't fit well on a wide strap. I also found I didn't like the clip on the Blackberry pouch I got from Staples. Since I like to wear the wireless parallel to the strap and pointing down, I had one made. I found an excellent leather crafter in my area. Showed him what I had and what I wanted done with it and he made it. The price was $45. Yes I know it's not cheap, but it's what I wanted, fits perfect and is made of top grade leather.

For those of you not happy with what's commercially available, see about getting something made. This guy does this stuff on the side so he doesn't have a website or commercial operation. I found out about him from the local Tandy Leather shop. Just thought I'd pass this along.

I have an X2 as well. Great wireless, terrible clip. I bought a blackberry clip for it, but soon after starting to use it, I started getting distortion in my signal. I thought the X2 was defective at first, but when I stopped using that case, my signal problems ceased. I deduced that the magnet and strip of metal that was embedded inside the top flap of the clip (to hold the flap shut) was causing the interference. So beware of that...
