Thanks for the wireless reviews

After reading the posts about wireless units I tried the X2 plus (399 at guitat Center) this weekend. It was great. All the comments about the unit were dead on. I had to change a battery but it was the one that came in the box and I left it on between one set. We played for 4 sets over 4 1/2 hours. At one point a friend of mine who plays bass was in the crowd an I just handed it to him and he sat in for a couple of songs. If any one is considering a wireless I would recomend this without hesitation. Thanks to all the others who went before and tried it.

Get a custom made replacement cable for the X2 now. The standard ones aren't well made and will cause you great frustration (I've had the same problem with two X2 systems and a buddy had the same problem with his). With the replacement cables, the system simply rules.

er, I have it as well and beware of the battery compartment on the guitar side. It is very poorly designed. i had the wirs to the battery pull right out.

Otherwise it is great. im like the fact that you cn shut the guitar side off and there is no noise or static at all. CP

if you can, get the rackmountable one.

and replace the cable ASAP!!
