Worked pretty well but the ear phones that come with it are very uncomfortable and seamed kinda cheap. I actually broke one the ear pieces within 5 minutes.
I was thinking of upgrading to the Westone UM1.

I've read here that alot of people use the UM2 but they cost almost three times as much.
Anybody using the UM1 as their monitors? Will these be acceptable in my situation? I'm assuming they would be a huge improvement over say like iPod earbuds.
BTW a little back ground. I've been playing bass for about a year now. I'm in a cover band with 3 of my 40ish Y/O friends. We play just for fun. Private parties, block parties, stuff like that. We are playing at "Blessing of the Bikes" party at a bar this weekend and are booked at our local country club in June. I play a Fender MIM Jazz 4.
