What amp to use ?

I've been reading for a bit around the internet and I'm looking for some advice. My wife is in a band and I'm building a sound system for them. So far I have a Yamaha EMX 5000 mixer, 2-S115V mains, 2-SW115V subs & 2-BR12M monitors. I know I need at least 1 amp for the subs & maybe the mains.

What amp would you recommend ? Why? Anything else ?
