We've got the Mesa Boogie 400+ in stock. These are new models that are from the last production run. Yes the rumors are true, this head will no longer be made by Mesa Boogie. No word on what will replace it. The full story is that they still have enough parts in stock to make a very limited number of the 400+'s. When the parts are gone, the 400+ will be gone. At $1699, this is probably the most affordable all tube Hi-end American-made head. The new 'made in Kentucky' Ashdown BTA400 will easily be over $2000. Surely to be a great head, but starting at $300 more than the Boogie, and the Boogie comes with Mesa's standard 5 year transferable warranty. |
